The Kingdom Man

“When you step out your door each day, do heaven, earth, and hell take notice? When you protect the woman under your care, can she do little to resist you? Do your children look to you with confidence? Does your church call on you for strength and leadership…[and] More than all of that, though, when God searches for a man to advance His kingdom, does He call your name?”

In this group, we will follow “The Kingdom Man” by Tony Evans to help young and adult men to understand their position under God and their position over what God has given them. It will provide practical concepts to help men develop biblical qualities and explore how to think, act, and empower others to live on God’s terms.

Self-Coaching 101

As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). How so? When we have a thought, we experience a feeling. Then when we have a feeling, we take or don’t take an action. Ultimately, those actions determine our experiences in the world. If your thoughts stink, your life is going to as well. If you are not conscious of negative thoughts, we become enslaved in a “spin cycle”.

While external circumstances rarely have the power to make us feel good or bad, our thoughts about the circumstances create our experiences. We do not have to get anything to feel better; we can feel better right now. We can examine our thoughts so that they are parallel instead of serial. Join us so that some stinking thinking can be broken.

Date & Time: Saturdays at 8:00 a.m., beginning February 24
