The Kingdom Man

“When you step out your door each day, do heaven, earth, and hell take notice? When you protect the woman under your care, can she do little to resist you? Do your children look to you with confidence? Does your church call on you for strength and leadership…[and] More than all of that, though, when God searches for a man to advance His kingdom, does He call your name?”

In this group, we will follow “The Kingdom Man” by Tony Evans to help young and adult men to understand their position under God and their position over what God has given them. It will provide practical concepts to help men develop biblical qualities and explore how to think, act, and empower others to live on God’s terms.

Date & Time: Sundays at 8:30 a.m. beginning February 16

Location: In-person – MPWOC Trailer

Audience: Teenage and adult men only

Transforming our Mind & Conforming to a Holistic Lifestyle

“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.” ??Romans? ?12?:?1?-?2? ?MSG??

Using Romans 12:1-2 as our guide, this Life Group is designed to help women transform their minds in Christ while confirming to a holistic, healthy life style. Each week, we will spend time with a devotion then take a walk while fellowshipping with each other.

Prayer Works

Prayer is the way God releases His grace to our hearts and transforms our lives. It’s also our God-given privilege to use prayer to stop Satan’s activities and destroy his power. But sometimes we allow fear of what to say, life’s distractions, and other excuses to hinder the most important conversation we’ll have of the day.

In this group, you’ll establish a new foundation in prayer and enrich your spiritual experience. We will teach the importance of prayer and show you how to make this spiritual grace an easy, essential part of your daily life. If you are struggling with how to pray or desire to strengthen your prayer life, come join us for this powerful interactive Life Group.

Date & Time: Mondays at 7:00 p.m. beginning February 17

Location: Virtual – Google Meet

Audience: Open to all

Your Life in Pictures

Have you ever thought: “Gosh, my life feels like a bad movie!”?  Would you describe it
as a drama, a comedy, a sci-fi; or God forbid, a horror movie?  Do you ever just wish you could press “rewind” or “delete”?
Or, maybe you’ve looked at movies as a type of mindless entertainment; hoping to
escape the stresses of life… even if just for a little while?  But then, to your amazement you discover what could be a nugget of wisdom; or life lesson that you can apply to your life? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then this group is for you!

This life group will use movies and discussion to help you recognize potentially destructive patterns of thinking and behavior and teach you to take the necessary measures that will lead to a place of overcoming and victory. If you’re interested, please sign up by February 22.
