Coat drive exceeds goal

We exceeded our donations for our coat drive for the Manna and Quail Ministry. The goal that Manna and Quail had set was 50 coats. Brother Elie Enoicy  reports that we collected 30 coats for women and 25 coats for men. They will be serving the homeless again this month and the coats have already been delivered to the homeless shelters. Manna and Quail coat drive through December 13

From November 29 through December 13, the Manna and Quail Ministry is holding a coat drive for the women at the Helen Wright Center for Women and for the men at the South Wilmington Street Shelter. We are in need of gently used coats and jackets for women and men. Our goal is to collect at least 50 coats. All sizes and styles are welcome. Just a quick reminder of items we really need our members to step up and donate.  Please think of our community when you’re doing your grocery shopping, running errands or even cleaning out your closets this week: Socks and gloves. Donations needed for women’s shelter

The Manna & Quails ministry is seeking donations of coats, jackets and other items for the Helen Wright Center for Women, a homeless shelter. Ministry members serve dinner at the center on the last Saturday of each month, every other month. In addition to coats and jackets, the ministry needs: Wash cloths Ladies’ hats and gloves Scarves Travel-size toiletries, such as body wash; deodorant; toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner and hand sanitizer.
