From August 18 until December 31, 2013, if you pay half the cost of a SILVER or GOLD leaf for our Tree of Life campaign, the remaining half will be paid for you – through a generous challenge from Elaine Stallings. All proceeds fund development of MPWOC’s Tree of Life Center.
Mt. Pleasantonians, this is an amazing opportunity to get on the Tree of Life. Many have already pledged and paid for bronze ($300), silver ($500) and gold ($1,000) leaves. This new, four-month campaign means that from now until mid-December, just $250 buys a silver leaf and only $500 buys a gold one.
Buy a leaf for yourself, a friend or a relative (living or in memory), a ministry or organization, etc. NOTE: Ms. Stallings will match pledges up to $10,000, and only those paid by the December 15 deadline.
Other Tree of Life Pledge Challenge rules:
- Applies to all SILVER and GOLD leaf pledges made on or after Sunday, August 18 up to $10,000.
- Challenge pledges are to be paid – $250 for silver, $500 for gold – no later than December 15, 2013.
- You can dedicate your leaf to whomever or whatever you wish — relatives living or in memory, friends, ministries, organizations, or yourself. (The full value of the leaf will be reflected on the tree, even though you only pay half.)
- The remaining half of these special pledges will be fulfilled by Ms. Stallings’ donation.
The Challenge does not apply to bronze-level pledges, or current/unfulfilled pledges made before August 18.
